Lauren Kuntzman,MA MLIS, first became interested in documenting her family’s history with a school project. It was not until May 1999, when FamilySearch.org came online, that she began seriously pursuing genealogy research.

She completed her library practicum at the Stark County District Library in Canton, Ohio.
Lauren is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, the National Genealogical Society, the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society, Ohio Genealogical Society, and several Ohio county societies.
Her research interests include the area of Alsace-Lorraine, finding living relatives, and tracking criminal ancestors. She is passionate about educating others through lectures and articles, and enabling budding genealogists to find their family stories
